RogerLe.com is registered on October 31, 1996 in Dallas, Texas — one month after Roger moved from Portugal to the United States. Hosted on iServer.com (Internet Servers Incorporated), the company launches with a clear mission: serve the Portuguese-speaking community online, at a time when few people knew what a web server even was.
Every line of code was written by hand, tag by tag. No frameworks, no tutorials in Portuguese. Just books, determination, and a dial-up connection.
First full redesign. Dark background, globe graphic, sidebar navigation — pure 1990s web aesthetics. RogerLe Company™ positions itself as a "World Wide Web Provider", running on a T-3 45Mbps connection via UUNET — the world's largest backbone at the time.
Services included virtual hosting, FTP, POP3 email, CGI scripts, and mailing lists — resources considered premium in 1998.
A historic milestone: Rede Globo — Brazil's largest television network — selects RogerLe Company as the official chat server provider for the soap opera Malhação. It was the first Globo program to have its own chat room.
The site surpasses 100,000 visits and launches a new visual identity — modern logo, blue/cyan color scheme, and the tagline that would last forever: "Internet for those who believe."

INFO Exame magazine (Issue 166, January 2000) publishes the first major comparative review of Portuguese-language web hosting. Among DigiWeb, Loca Web, Mr. Help and others, RogerLe Company receives the "A Escolha do INFO" award — best Portuguese-language hosting provider.
The highlights: technical robustness, CGI/Perl support, and quality of customer service. A copy of the magazine, still in its original plastic wrap, is kept to this day.

By 2002, the site had recorded over 417,000 visits and was the recognized reference for the Portuguese-speaking community online.

The billing system, helpdesk, and all infrastructure continue to be developed in-house, now with the help of an AI crew that collaborates daily with Roger and Le.
